LUIS L. DEL ROSARIO, JR. ( Writer/Producer/Director of "Nina")

Luis L. Del Rosario, Jr.’s aspirations to become a filmmaker began in 1979 at the age of ten when his father brought home a surveillance camera. Inspired, motivated and driven, he began making home movies.

A movie buff, to say the least, Luis had always been intrigued by the filmmaking process both artistically and technically.

In the spring of 1990, Luis learned and applied his technical skills in an intensive film workshop at New York University, earning a certificate. As technology in film progressed, he pushed forward and became his own student. With little money, more home movies, and a dream in the making, Luis began to do his homework. His unfettered approach to screenplay writing and filmmaking led him to small film projects and later, the birth of Rosario Entertainment.

Inspired by his late mother, once a famous actress in the Philippines, and the support of his family, Luis continues to pursue his passion and makes his filmmaking debut, in his first feature length film, Nina.
